What! Bud Plays a Washboard?

That's right. Bud Prince, aka Buddy Love and Washboard Bud, plays a washboard and is one of a relatively few washboard players in the world. The washboard is a percussion instrument. Bud doesn't limit himself to bluegrass, country and folk music. You'll see Bud scratching his washboard with classic rock and roll groups as well. Bud is also a vocalist and sings solo and backup vocals with local bands. Washboard Bud plays with Acoustic Rain in and around Angola, Indiana. You might look for them at the 101 Lounge.

You'll also find Washboard Bud playing in Playa del Carmen, Mexico several weeks a year. While in Playa del Carmen, Bud is a regular at Bad Boys Beach Bar playing with The Nasty Bastards.
